Mea culpa

Although I could download all books in the world,
yet for me there is only one book.
In that book there is for me one page;
And in that one page, one sentence only stays in my mind.

Although I could invite all chefs in the earth,
yet for me there is only one table.
In that table there is for me one plate;
And in that one plate, one spoon only enters my mouth.

Please forgive me
I already want more than I need
Teach me to be humble, to follow you more nearly
And to purify my heart

I love things and use people.
Teach me to love people and use things.

Please forgive me
I am easily satisfied with the fleeting pleasure.
Teach me to exchange worldly wealth with eternal riches.
